Futuras Coisas (Future Things) is an essay on collapse through repetition. Between obsession and resignation, a woman inhabits a metallic space where every day is a simulation. She inhabits the fissure between the desire for permanence and the urgency of transformation, in a suspended time where self-sabotage becomes ritual. On the threshold between dream and wakefulness, where does giving up fit in? How long can the mechanics of one’s own body hold out? What is left when everything has been tried?
